After taking hours using the Woolies site it asked for my card no which meant getting up so I left my virtual trolley in the aisle and reordered most of my usuals from Coles only to find the same prob at checkout as last shop..wouldn’t complete payment. Checked card, wifi etc then sent txt as suggested. Went back to Woolies. Set up my flybuys as suggested. Said I was already registered! Trundled my virtual trolley to the virtual checkout. Chose delivery for teatime today after podiatrist as am at relaxation 1pm – and been awake nearly all night. Thought I had better check whether that payment had actually gone through or I would have two lots of grocery deliveries. “Site down for maintenance till 6am.” Now they tell me. Back to Woolis and this time it had found my card, so finished transaction. Just as well as I ran out of milk at breakfast. Finally got to sleep. Woke 7.30am to rush to virtual Coles to ensure they were not already packing my groceries. Got txt from them saying I had given them an incorrect order number to help. So I emptied my Coles trolley and virtually walked away. Did I say online grocery shopping was easy? At least someone else carries it home, which is the whole point.
