VILLAGE LIFE-Wine Tasting

I left before the fight started.

Photo from the wine education talk and tasting by Superior Vineyards Pty Limited in our Village Hall on a rainy Saturday afternoon that drew about 24 residents who sampled a good range of Australian wines from around the continent.

I would ike to say a wild party with raucous singing ensued but alcohol messes up my medication and I had to go and lie down after only 5 sips – and I mean sips -of five different varieties. As it was, I had to be reminded to take my handbag. Worse still, I then tried to hang my bag on the wrong walker and make off with it.

The residents were able to order delivery of special deals which should keep everybody happy for some time to come.

Meanwhile my neighbour Ros and I are due to whip up another batch of Winsome’s Apricot Liqueur from the recipe in the Village newsletter. It is the best painkiller going.
