My Perfect Man

I did have a long-time crush on Imran Khan the cricketer but my lifetime love was James Stewart as a cowboy actor and in real life good husband and family man.

So the man I go for (sorry went for) before I forgot what I went for haha is not à film star, but a comedy character.

In fact my perfect man really truly is Mrs Bouquet/Bucket’s husband Richard in his tweed jacket. Not the downtrodden Richard although he really isn’t he just goes the way of a quiet life but the indomitable, ever- smiling Richard who can be relied on in any situation. Who always pays his bills on time and knows what day it is. Who doesn’t try to control and although he seems under control by Hyacinth is really the lynchpin of the family. So there.

    1. lol even my son said “You really are Mrs Bouquet!” years ago. I threaatened to have him adopted (he was about 40) for that remark! I want to be Cher. With a personal trainer and a lot of willlower, a few nips and tucks, and a nice wig I could be……..sigh, not going to happen…

      1. Not Cher! Ok,I loved her when I was 12 and that was the first album I ever got. I loved her with Sonny. Then she fixed her teeth and she wasn’t Cher anymore! Mrs. Bouquet has personality. I’ll bet your son wouldn’t have traded you for Cher. Okay, maybe when he was 12!😂
